What is BodyBalance?


BodyBalance is suitable for anyone who wants to gain balance, flexibility and new energy.

The combination of yoga, tai chi and Pilates creates a unique workout that strengthens the body and relaxes the mind at the same time. Muscles are strengthened gently but effectively, posture improves noticeably and flexibility increases with every lesson.

Another effect is stress reduction: with targeted breathing and relaxation exercises, you will find peace and serenity for your everyday life.

In the GYYM, experienced instructors will guide you step by step through the movements. You can join in at any time, regardless of your fitness level. Whether you want to improve your fitness, reduce stress or simply treat yourself to a conscious break – BodyBalance offers the perfect combination of training and relaxation.

Book a class

Yes! You have the option to purchase a Group Fitness Daypass (CHF 15.-) on site at any time, which allows you to participate in one or more classes. To ensure that the classes are still available, please register for the relevant courses by phone in advance. If you would like to become a member, please find out more about our membership offers on our website or contact our team for further information.

BodyBalance is based on classic yoga elements, but combines them with Pilates, Tai Chi and gentle movement sequences. While yoga is often more focused on postures (asanas) and meditation, BodyBalance is a holistic workoutthat flexibility, balance, strength and relaxation in one dynamic class.

You will not only train your muscles and flexibility, but also your body awareness, breathing and inner peace – all in a motivating atmosphere with music.

Yes, absolutely! BodyBalance is based on yoga elements, but combines them with Pilates, Tai Chi and dynamic movement sequences. Even if you already do yoga, you will benefit from:

  • holistic training for body and mindthat combines relaxation and exercise

BodyBalance complements yoga perfectly and brings new impulses without replacing your existing skills.

With energy and a good mood, you already have the most important things with you! Please also remember to wear clean indoor shoes and bring a towel. Appropriate sportswear and something to drink are an advantage. All other training materials will be provided by us. You will find these in front of or in the corresponding course room. However, you are of course welcome to bring your own (yoga) mat.
