What is BodyPump?


BodyPump is an effective full-body workout that uses moderate weights and a high number of repetitions.

The workout combines classic barbell exercises with dynamic movements for more strength, muscle endurance and body control. You train your legs, back, chest, shoulders, arms and core – and burn up to 540 calories per hour.

The movement sequences have been scientifically developed and are guided by experienced trainers. With the right music, you will be motivated to push yourself to your limits and train safely at the same time.

Yes! You have the option to purchase a Group Fitness Daypass (CHF 15.-) on site at any time, which allows you to participate in one or more classes. To ensure that the classes are still available, please register for the relevant courses by phone in advance. In classic strength training, the focus is usually on high weights and low repetitionsto specifically build muscle mass and maximum strength. Each exercise is often trained on its own and the intensity is mainly created by the weight.

BodyPump, on the other hand, follows a different principle: you train with moderate weightsbut with many repetitions. This means that entire muscle groups are stressed over a longer period of time – similar to endurance training. With energy and a good mood, you already have the most important things with you! Please also remember to wear clean indoor shoes and bring a towel. Appropriate sportswear and something to drink are an advantage. All other training materials are provided by us. You will find these in front of or in the relevant course room.
