Why postpartum recovery gymnastics is so important

Your body has done a lot! Now it needs targeted support to regenerate. Postpartum recovery gymnastics helps you to gently strengthen your muscles, especially the pelvic floor, and prevent complaints such as incontinence or back pain.

Targeted exercises promote the stability of your core, improve your posture and help to close rectus diastasis. At the same time, exercise supports your general well-being, reduces stress and gives you new energy for everyday mom life.

With conscious postpartum recovery training, you lay the foundation for long-term health and fitness, at your own pace and adapted to the needs of new moms.

Please clarify in advance with your gynecologist or midwife when you can start the gymnastic class.

Postpartum recovery gymnastics FAQ

After a natural birth from the 6th week at the earliest, after a caesarean section from the 8th – 10th week.

Your doctor or midwife can give you individual advice.

If you are unsure whether exercise is suitable for you in your current phase, please discuss this with your gynecologist or midwife beforehand.

It strengthens your core, supports the regeneration of the pelvic floor and helps to prevent complaints such as back pain or incontinence.

The postpartum recovery classes are without a baby, so you can concentrate fully on yourself.

A minimum of 10 weeks is recommended. A gentle transition to further training is ideal for sustainable regeneration and long-term stability.

Without targeted training, this can lead to long-term complaints such as pelvic floor weakness or postural damage. A gentle re-entry is therefore worthwhile in any case!
